I will definitely remember September
4 athletes, 3 different sports, 3 leagues, 4 different topics
Marcellus Wiley-NFL Veteran Turned Media Sensation
Let’s skip the small talk,
In September I flew out to Denver for absolutely no reason, and as a result got a bunch of sponsorship interest. Here are some of the highlights (and a lowlight) that led to another huge month for the Athletes & Assets community.
4 athletes, 3 different sports, touching 3 different leagues, covering 4 different topics:
Marcellus Wiley (ex-NFL Pro Bowler) explained the business of the entertainment industry.
Josh Childress (Ex-NBA Vet) broke down his real estate investment criteria at Landspire Group.
Samantha Peszek (Ex-Olympic Gymnast) gave tips on how to start a podcast.
Annie Case (ex-National Champion, Stanford Women’s Soccer) spoke about the future of digital health and how ex-athletes make the best founders.
I flew out to Denver on a couple of days notice to record a podcast with- ahhh just wait until the next vlog comes out :)... he never showed up. It was an NBA player I’ve admired for a long. He just launched a new app and I couldn’t wait to chat about it with him. Tough part of the business– sometimes you just have to charge it to the game. We will connect at some point. If you saw what happened on our Instagram page I hope you found it amusing.
As a result of this legendary flop, we have a bunch of sponsorship interest already and signed our first deal (announcing soon). It’s a blessing to have this interest before we blow up because “We Coming” *Coach Prime Voice. Marcellus also gave the podcast some awesome love #DatDude.
A couple of teasers for October include an episode with a current NBA player, another top tier VC partner joins the pod, we may have a little new brand reveal, AND….
There’s a massive partnership that is in the works to jack up the Athletes & Assets™ audience. I want to thank you guys at this juncture for being early supporters of the movement.
October is spooky season (if you know if you know)… let’s work.
